Serving the South Burnett since 1949 · Registered charity ABN 73 936 616 469
Kingaroy Baptist Church is a not-for-profit Christian congregation on Knight Street. For more than seventy-five years we have gathered each Sunday to worship, and each week to care practically for families, young people and older residents across the South Burnett — regardless of background or belief.
Not-for-profit
A registered charity, not a business. No profit is distributed to any person.
ABN 73 936 616 469
Registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission.
Established 1949
Continuously serving Kingaroy for over seventy-five years.
Volunteer-powered
Our ministries are run by members giving their time freely.
Our purpose is to make the love of Jesus Christ known in Kingaroy through worship, teaching and practical service. In plain terms, that means three commitments we return to every year: gather people for honest, unhurried worship; grow people through careful teaching of the Bible in small groups; and give — of our time, our building and our fundraising — to neighbours in the South Burnett who are doing it tough.
Our registered charitable activities are religious activities (Christianity) and fundraising for the purpose of gifts within the community. Our beneficiaries are families in Queensland, and every dollar raised is applied to those charitable purposes under the oversight of our church leadership.
